This document provides detailed information on how We use cookies and how you can change settings to delete or reject cookies. Please read our Privacy Notice for information on the use of personal data collected through our Website. Unless you have changed settings to disable cookies, by using our website, you accept the use of cookies (and similar technologies) in accordance with this Cookie Policy. If you do not accept the use of cookies, please read the section below titled “How to Change Cookie Settings” for additional instructions.
What is a cookie?
Cookies are small files consisting of letters and numbers that are downloaded to your computer or mobile device when you visit websites. They are stored via your web browser on your device. Cookies allow websites to store certain data to enable easier and faster browsing of web pages, efficient navigation through websites, remember your preferred settings, and generally improve the user experience. Some cookies are stored only for the duration of your visit to our websites. These cookies are called session cookies. Other cookies, called persistent cookies, may remain stored on your device after your visit, and can be accessed from our websites each time you revisit our Website. First-party cookies are those set directly by Impuls Consulting on your device. The use of our Website may also result in the placement of third-party cookies on our behalf. We use third-party cookies to help analyze our Website and how it is used (such as cookies provided by Google® Analytics).
What types of cookies do we use?
The types of cookies we use on our Website can be classified into two categories: “technical cookies” and “analytical cookies.” Below you will find additional information about the types of cookies on our Website and more about their use:
Technical cookies
These cookies are used for technical reasons to enable the proper functioning of our Website and to use the services contained therein. They are necessary for navigating through the websites and using their functionalities. These cookies do not collect data about you for marketing purposes nor track your internet activity. In their absence, websites or some of their parts may not function properly. Therefore, these cookies are always used regardless of user settings. This category of cookies is always sent from our domain. Users can delete these cookies using their browser function. These cookies are often specific to a particular session and disappear once your visit to the website is finished.
How to block this type of cookie?
Change your browser settings.
Analytical cookies
These cookies are used to collect data on the use of our Website, such as the pages you visit most frequently, the number of visitors to our web pages, or the websites that refer visitors to our Website. They do not store personal user data but collect aggregated and anonymous data. These cookies are sent from third-party domains. We use this data to compile reports and help improve our Website, for example, by letting us know if users have encountered errors and ensuring that users easily find what they are looking for. These are persistent cookies: they remain on your device after you have finished browsing, unless you decide to delete them.
How to block this type of cookie?
Change your browser settings.
How to change your cookie settings?
If you do not agree with their use, you can easily delete or block cookies by changing your browser settings so that cookies from our Website cannot be set on your computer or mobile device. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser. Please note that if you choose to refuse cookies, you may not be able to use all the features of our Website, and communications you receive from us may be less relevant to you than if you accept cookies. Disabling cookies or cookie categories does not delete cookies from your browser; you will need to do this within your browser. We use the hCaptcha security service (hereinafter “hCaptcha”) on our website. This service is provided by Intuition Machines, Inc., a Delaware US Corporation (“IMI”). hCaptcha is used to check whether user actions on our online service (such as submitting a login or contact form) meet our security requirements. To do this, hCaptcha analyzes the behavior of the website or mobile app visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website or mobile app visitor enters a part of the website or app with hCaptcha enabled. For the analysis, hCaptcha evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, how long the visitor has been on the website or app, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis will be forwarded to IMI. hCaptcha analysis in the “invisible mode” may take place completely in the background. Website or app visitors are not advised that such an analysis is taking place if the user is not shown a challenge. Data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR: the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the website visitor is party (for example, the website terms) or in order to take steps at the request of the website visitor prior to entering into a contract. Our online service (including our website, mobile apps, and any other apps or other forms of access offered by us) needs to ensure that it is interacting with a human, not a bot, and that activities performed by the user are not related to fraud or abuse. In addition, processing may also be based on Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR: our online service has a legitimate interest in protecting the service from abusive automated crawling, spam, and other forms of abuse that can harm our service or other users of our service. IMI acts as a “data processor” acting on behalf of its customers as defined under the GDPR, and a “service provider” for the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
